Rotary's Growing Futures Campaign
Growing Futures is a Rotary Melbourne-led campaign supporting Rai Matak's community forestry work in Timor-Leste.
Smallholder farmers are paid US$0.50 for each surviving tree every year, creating reliable income while restoring landscapes and strengthening rural livelihoods.
Donations are managed by xpand Foundation, an Australian registered charity with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, providing secure, transparent and tax-deductible giving.

1. Choose your donation amount.
2. Your donation is directed to the Growing Futures Rotary Fund managed by xpand Foundation.
3. Following independent verification each December, funds are distributed directly to farmers. Farmers receive US$0.50 for every tree they keep alive each year, creating a reliable income while restoring forests. 100% of your donation goes directly to farmers. There are no administration fees.
4. Each year, xpand Foundation confirms the number of farming families and trees supported by Rotary, enabling Rotary Clubs to demonstrate their contribution to climate action, sustainable development and ESG commitments.
